Schaller GrandTune Lyra Tuning Machines - Gold /Polybone /White - 10620563.61.11

I’ve used Schaller GrandTune classical guitar tuners for years and have always appreciated their exceptional build quality, smooth operation, precise tuning, rock-solid stability, and elegant design.

Although I typically prefer the Hauser style, I recently purchased a Yuichi Imai concert guitar whose previous owner had replaced the original tuners with lower-quality alternatives. I had several sets of Hauser-style tuners on hand, but the fading in the headstock finish revealed that the originals were Lyra style. Rather than refinish the headstock, I wanted a premium set of Lyra-style tuners worthy of the instrument. Schaller GrandTunes were the obvious choice. They complement the guitar’s classic aesthetic beautifully and deliver the precision and performance I’ve come to expect from Schaller.

This was also my second purchase from XGuitars, and Geoff has been thoroughly professional on both occasions, providing excellent communication and outstanding service.

I recommend both Schaller GrandTune tuners and XGuitars without hesitation.

Very smooth, precise, and beautiful. The best that I’ve used in 62 years of playing classical guitar. Buy a set. You will be impressed.

These were recommended by my guitar tech, David Mannella in Pittsburgh, as well as esteemed luthiier R.E. Brune as being appropriate for my Alhambra 8p and an upgrade from the previous tuners. They are amazing... super smooth, like having a new instrument. More than happy. And my tech was highly impressed as well! Thanks to Geoff from XGUITARS for also leadiing me in this direction. I'll definitely keep XGUITARS as my first call for any guitar-related purchases!

I was happy to be able to upgrade my tuners on my recent purchase of a Ramirez Guitarra Del tiempo. I'm sure the tuners that were originally installed are of good quality, but the Schaller Grand Lyra tuners are quite pleasing to the eye and touch. They are reasonably priced and I am glad I made that choice.

Just had them installed onto my Ramirezdel Tiempo and I LOVE THEM! Why?
First and least of all, they look beautiful and required only a minor adjustment during installation,
Second, they are very easy to turn and the precision reached is as perfect as I think it can be! What a difference from the Chinese Ping tuners that came with the guitar, which were hard to turn and difficult to get great tuning!
Geoff, as usual was extremely helpful. I asked him if he thought these tuners were good for my del Tiempo or if he had an alternate suggestion. He agreed these would work well.
Another comment related to the del Tiempo; it is a beautiful instrument well worth it's weight in gold. I was told by my luthier that he had a $10,000 guitar that didn't sound very different from the del Tiempo.
Hope this helps those of you looking at the Schaller tuners or even the Ramirez del Tiempo. Both AWESOME!
