This case is designed specifically to be an exact fit for Alhambra classical guitars, but it is superb for all standard size classical guitars from any brand.
We at XGuitars worked with TKL to build a case based on the popular TKL 9100, but that is much more protective of your guitar. It is officially designated the C0041/BLK. In addition to the double arch, it features substantially augmented padding to protect the top and the back of the guitar, as shown in the photographs. To compensate for this padding, the case is deeper than the standard TKL 8800 or 9100. Not only does this protect the top and back of the guitar, but it adds protection for the corners of the guitar by moving them away from the corners of the case.
Whether your case may be dropped on a corner, dropped flat, or subjected to some sort of crushing force, this case will give your guitar a much better chance of survival. This case also features a cushioned handle, for increased comfort.

The construction of the case is sturdy and offers good protection. The inside fits the guitar perfectly and is well padded. The only minor thing that I think they can improve is the vinyl covering on the side. You can see some of the vinyl is not glued completely and some of the vinyl fiber sticks out. It is more aesthetic issue than anything else. It serves the purpose.
The TKL hard case has the look as well as the protection and fits about any classical and flamenco guitar brand.

Great service by XGuitars. Guitar and case arrived on time and in perfect condition. This guitar is beautiful, extremely well made and the Fishman electronics are great. The narrower neck and low action made it very easy to play. The one negative is that, because the guitar body has less volume than a regular classical, the sound is weaker/thinner. This is especially evident for the G and B strings. Electronics help though and the sustain on the high E is impressive. It’s a super guitar for beginners or mid-range musicians.
I do not own an Alhambra case to compare this to and I’m sure they are very nice judging by their guitars, however, I do have a few other name brands that I store other guitars in and this TKL is by far superior. It fits my Mengual y Margarit Serie NT perfectly and without any of the “slop” I notice with every other case I’ve owned.
It is a very heavy duty, well designed, and constructed every-day use case that I believe could take a substantial amount of beating to any surface and leave your guitar unscathed. This extra protection causes the case to be noticeably larger in the outside dimensions than your average case, though I would not say grossly so. I also believe that it could take an airplane ride beating, but I wouldn’t personally recommend it, since there are other cases out there specifically designed for that purpose, albeit much more expensive.
It is also noteworthy that the the compartment is a generous size, having room enough for a Sageworks Rest, Tuner, Cejilla, Kling-On, and a few other small items.
Ultimately, I am pleased with the purchase and will add another one to any guitar I acquire from XGuitars in the future.
I love the Savarez 540J strings on my Alhambra Mengual u Margarit. I tried the first on Geoff's recommendation when I bought my first Alhambra from Xguitars (A Pro Linea), and I added them when I got the M&M. I can't imagine why I would use anything else.
