Woodside HLK-2 High Lift Kit for GS1, GS2, GS3 & GS4 Supports
The Woodside HLK-2 is a High Lift Kit (also listed by Woodside as the Hi Lift Kit) that installs between the leg support and the cradle, raising the guitar well above what the stock column allows. It fits the GS1, GS2, GS3, and GS4 Woodside guitar supports and can increase lift by as much as 18cm.
Who Needs a High Lift Kit
Taller players regularly reach the top of a Woodside's stock adjustment range and still want the guitar higher — the GS3, for example, offers roughly 79 to 113mm of lift as sold, which isn't always enough. The same applies to anyone who prefers the instrument angled steeper than about 45 degrees or who plays in a more upright position. Bringing the guitar up to you instead of leaning down to it reduces strain on the back, shoulders, and neck over a long session. Players who have added this kit consistently describe it as the accessory that finally got their position right.
Choosing the Right Woodside Lift Kit
Woodside's lift kits are matched to specific support generations, so start with which model you own. The HLK-2 covers the GS1, GS2, GS3, and GS4. For the newer Pro Collar supports, the
HLK-3 High Lift Kit is the equivalent, and the
